Welcome to Reverse Rocking R Angus Ranch. The ranch is located NE of Maxwell NM and resides at 6200 FT. The ranch is owned by Chris Earl and David Schumaker . The ranch is managed by Trent and Garrett Earl . Chris Earl has been in the Purebred Angus business for 28 years and currently maintains a Cattle Consulting Business called CK6 Consulting Services. David Schumaker owns Mountain View Ranch LLC Morristown, TN which also owns multiple properties in and around Maxwell, NM.
The genetics are Purebred Angus with a heavy concentration on calving-ease, strong maternal, above average growth and high end carcass merit. RRR has access to some the breed’s elite females that will be crossed with the best bulls to insure a product that will excel in some of the toughest environments known to the business.
The ranch currently maintains a bull development facility that can house 300 bulls. The facility maintains 1200 ft big bull runs with water on one side feed on the other. The bulls will be bred and grown out to perform in the toughest country. The Ranch currently host two sales a year. All bulls will be PAP tested with free delivery and first season guarantee. A large percentage of the bulls will be 18 mos or older.
The ranch currently runs about 400 cows with half of those cows used as recipients for the Embryo Transplant program. The cow her is split about 2/3rds spring calvers 1/3 fall calvers. The donor pen at Reverse Rocking R is considered to be one of the most progressive set of genetics in the country. The donor facility at the ranch is used to manage this elite set for maximum production.
